Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit soll die Fragestellung im Mittelpunkt stehen, ob und in welchem Maße spanische Unternehmen den Zeichen der Zeit folgen und eine Etablierung ihrer Marken bewerkstelligen - international und mit speziellem Bezug auf Deutschland. Die vorliegende Arbeit konzentriert sich zunächst auf die Marke, die Grundlagen der Markenführung und den Internationalisierungsprozess von Unternehmen. Im ersten Teil (A) der Arbeit wird zunächst ein Überblick über die theoretischen Ansatzpunkte der internationalen strategischen Markenführung gegeben und alternative „Going- und Being-International-Strategien" im Rahmen der Internationalisierung vorgestellt. Weiterhin werden im zweiten Teil (B) die praktische Umsetzung und die aktuelle Situation ausgewählter spanischer Unternehmen erläutert.
