He was drafted into the US Army during the Viet Nam war after completion of medical specialty training and went up in rank from Captain to Lieutenant Colonel serving for eight years in New Jersey and Frankfurt, Germany. He eventually relocated to Italy with his family to practice medicine. In addition to following him through various periods of his life, he also inserts unusual specific experiences. It all started and is yet to end on a STOOP, which is the name of this work.
